<br />INTERBASIN COMPACT COMMITTEE <br />(Y AMP A/WHITE) BASIN ROUNDTABLE <br />MINUTES OF APRIL 19, 2006 <br />STEAMBOA T SPRINGS, COLORADO <br /> <br />Tom Sharp called the meeting to order. <br /> <br />Minutes approved from February 22,2006 meeting. <br /> <br />Carla Brown from Foundation for Water Education made a presentation regarding <br />Directors Notebook. <br /> <br />The proposed Bylaws were introduced. The question of IBCC alternates was discussed. <br />Tom Sharp agreed to prepare draft language regarding IBCC alternates for next meeting. <br />The Bylaws were unanimously adopted by voice vote. <br /> <br />There was a report from Darryl Steele and Dan Birch regarding IBCC Charter and <br />Bylaws. <br /> <br />Eric Hecox made a presentation regarding Roundtable responsibilities. There is a bill <br />pending in the Legislature to provide funds to refine and update SWSI. There is also a <br />bill pending to provide funds for implementation. Eric Hecox will prepare separate <br />materials from SWSI related to Y amp a- White for review by Roundtable. <br /> <br />Eric Kuhn, General Manager, Colorado River Water Conservation District, gave <br />presentation regarding Law of Colorado River and unused Compact Entitlement available <br />to Colorado. There was discussion about the matters raised by Eric Kuhn in his <br />presentation. <br /> <br />Tom Sharp made presentation regarding possibility of meeting with North Platte Basin <br />Roundtable to discuss prohibition or limitation on exports between basins. It was agreed <br />to discuss this subject more at a later meeting. <br /> <br />There was a consensus to have specific presentations at the next meeting on the Yampa <br />and White, including potential energy development impacting the White. <br /> <br />It was agreed to schedule the next meeting in July in Craig. <br /> <br />The meeting was adjourned. <br /> <br />III <br />
