<br />South Platte Basin Roundtable Meeting Minutes <br />January 9, 2007 <br />Longmont, Colorado <br /> <br />Please contact Lisa McVicker for any changes or corrections to the minutes: <br />mcvicker@qwest.net <br /> <br />NEXT MEETING: Tuesday, February 13,4 pm; Weld County Services Center, <br />Longmont, CO <br /> <br />IMPORTANT MOTION ADOPTED RELATED TO DEADLINE OF <br />APPLICA TIONS FOR 179 MONEY: The Roundtable adopted a motion that would <br />allow any applicant for SB179 money to submit a complete summary/abstract of the <br />proposed project (in place of a completed application as per the motion passed on <br />11/14/06); the requirement stands that the applicant must submit its <br />summary/abstract and/or complete application for SB179 money one week prior to <br />the meeting at which the Roundtable will consider the application. Standard Reports: <br />1. IBCC Report: Eric Wilkinson: <br />Next IBCC meeting on Peb 2 in Denver; December meeting focused on <br />2007 planning; agreed in principal on several items for focus in next 6 <br />months: educating members on "bridging water issues on entire state"; <br />state wide water issues such as topics that range from CO River <br />unappropriated water and administration of that within CO; energy impact <br />in CO basin; CO water project vista; other projects that would entail state- <br />wide collaboration viewed. <br />RE: SB 179: criteria have been approved; projects must be received by <br />Thursday for funding in March; CO River Basin, South Platte, AK and <br />Denver Metro Round Table have indicated cooperation for application for <br />$200,000 vis a vis 3 State Endangered Species Compliance. <br /> <br />2.
