The <br />~ighway is closed and traffic is <br />being detoured around U.8. 50 to <br />Colo.67. <br />In addition to Colo. 115 washing <br />Clway, flooding was reported <br />throughout much of Penrose, <br />Ilorth of town, and for miles along <br />U.8,50. <br />Bill Fortune, meteorologist ,in <br />~harge at the National Weather <br />&lrvice in Pueblo, said this morn- <br />ing the rain started aroJ.ll1d 6p.m. <br />Wednesday and continued well <br />past midnight, with the heaviest <br />and most damaging rainfall be- <br />tween 7 and 10 p.m. <br />"We had heavy rain across <br />much of eastern Fremont Coun- <br />ty. "Fortune said.
