<br />out of species conservation fund; 3-5000 acft as cooperative effort; but must <br />now have full 10,000 ac ft available fi-om CO; other monies go to habitat <br />improvement, allows all existing depletions as of June 97 to continue into <br />future for 13 years-this is first phase; then 10 years into first increment: <br />WY, CO and NE: total bill of$3l5 million; half paid by federal government; <br />three states trying to get appropriations for fed half; other cost: water cost and <br />capital cost: CO contribute 40% NE 40% and WY 10% <br /> <br />Jerke: CO environmental and recreational concerns; need to gain friends and <br />allies for these projects. <br /> <br />Wilkinson: Ducks Unlimited participants in this Tamarack project which <br />have helped raise the money. <br /> <br />Harold Evans: Ask DNR to send out request to all members in what areas they <br />think more study done so we can evaluate? <br /> <br />Phyllis Tomas: Introduces self as she is conducting a study in collaboration <br />and will be contacting members of roundtable. <br /> <br />Adjourn: 8:45 pm <br /> <br />13 <br />
