<br />supply water to municipalities and industries; do not gravitate to extremes. <br />Concerns of water supply and storage run parallel to northern district: the system <br />has to collect the water in the high mountains and half of that water comes from <br />the National Parks and National Forest systems-a mini CBT; over time, have <br />learned to work with neighbors; look for symbiotic relationship that can work <br />over time. <br />31) Burt Weaver: Clear Creek County: Community Developer of Georgetown: Clear <br />Creek County Water Ban1e started in 1991 to try to catch up in century of <br />competing for water sources: ownership of 53 ac ft of direct flow, options, <br />agricultural agreements for storage in Golden; has filed to try to build 9 more <br />reservoirs; most are small; the largest is at 150 ac ft. The greatest category of <br />water provided is water for snow making-Terrain Park-Loveland Ski Area. As <br />a water aug provider. Because of limited resource growth, <br />must work on solutions. <br />33) Thad Gordon (spelling?): Colorado State University: Liaison with South Platte <br />Roundtable; here to offer services. <br />34) Doug Kemper: Non voting member for City of Aurora will now need to resign as <br />he has recently been appointed as the Executive Director of the Colorado Water <br />Congress; he would like to introduced and endorse his colleague, Lisa Darling, <br />fi'om the City of Aurora, as his replacement. The Roundtable will address Mr. <br />Kemper's replacement in the January meeting. <br />Other attendees: <br />35) Steve Simms: Would like to draw attention to the future 3 State Agreement <br />between CO/WY INE: the three states have entered into and agreement with the <br />Department ofFish and Wildlife for compliance with the Endangered Species <br />Act; SPRAP (?): a private corporation to provide private funds to meet <br />compliance needs. <br />36) Lisa Darling: with Aurora for 7 years; relationships with many at table; Aurora's <br />water resource program currently depends on receiving 50% of water from South <br />Platte Basin; she would like to take Doug Kemper's place. <br />37) Douglas Crow: Reporter for Longmont paper. <br />38) Ron Howard: Commissioner fi'om ? (sorry.) <br />39) Bob Rural: native Coloradoan from Greeley; water lawyer; Central Water <br />Conservancy District; interested in at-large seat with state community. <br />40) Brad Winn: Northern Water Conservancy District. <br />41) Mike Henry: Agricultural Journal. <br /> <br />State provides pizza and pop; dinner break.
