SUMMARY OF PROPOSED PROJECT <br />RYAN GULCH RESERVOIR COMPANY <br />RYAN GULCH RESERVOIR REHABILITATION <br />,� <br />Pro_iect Snonsor: Ryan Gulch Reservoir Company <br />Tvue of Proiect: Agricultural and industrial - spillway replacement on existing dam. <br />Location: South side of Loveland about one mile west of Highway 287 in Larimer <br />County as shown on the attached map. <br />Date of Anplication: June 12, 1998 <br />Feasibilitv Study: Received January 5, 1999 — prepared by Boyle Engineering <br />Pro_iect Description: Ryan Gulch Reservoir has an estimated storage capacity of 976 <br />acre-feet at the spillway crest but is cunently restricted to 645 acre-feet due to inadequate <br />spillway capacity. The project involves the construction of a new spillway on the left <br />abutment of the dam with adequate capacity to pass the 100-year inflow design flood: <br />Completion of the project is expected to allow the use of full storage capacity in the <br />reservoir. <br />Estimated Pro_iect Cost: $428,500 <br />,• Requested Loan: $317,500 {75 percent of total project costs} <br />� <br />Ryan Gulch Dam <br />General Location of Proposed Spillway <br />
