Feasibility of Construction
of the
FL Gill H20 LLC Augmentation Project

Project Sponsor

FL Gill H20 LLC (Gill LLC) is a Colorado family-based
agricultural Limited Liability Company. The Gill LLC was formed
in December 2003 for the primary purpose of building and managing
water recharge projects for the augmentation of the member's
agricultural water needs. The Gill LLC has the power to buy water
rights and to enter into contracts to accomplish this purpose.

The Gill LLC has numerous shares in the Johnson and Edwards Ditch
Company and also the Lower Platte and Beaver Canal Company. The
Gill LLC has had an average annual combined ditch diversion of
2,200 acre-feet.

The ground under the Gill LLC is also irrigated with 4 tributary
groundwater wells. The wells pump on average 1,200 acre-feet of
water annually. The 4 wells are currently augmented under the
Groundwater Appropriators of the South Platte (GASP) plan of
operation. See Appendix A for current GASP records.

Project Service Area

The 910 acre service area of the Gill LLC is located in
Washington County about 23 miles southwest of Sterling. The acres
are the combination of the three family farms partnered in the
LLC. The three farms are all contiguous. The diverted water in
the service area is typically used to irrigate corn, alfalfa,
beans, and sugar beets. A map of the project service area is
found on page 3.
