Our Association provides irrigation water to <br />the farm and orchard lands west of Hotchkiss as well as the raw water for the <br />Town of Hotchkiss water treatment works. Due to serious concerns about the <br />quantity of water available for the future, the Association is considering what <br />additional storage options are available. The Association has more storage <br />rights than it has reservoir ca~acity and is anxious to find ways to store more <br />of its rights. We are considering either renovating some abandonned reservoir <br />sites, construct a new reservoir, or enlarging some of our existing reservoirs <br />to store more water. The planning money will be used to determine which options <br />are best for storing more of our water rights. <br /> <br />The Association greatly appreciates your ability to assist them in financing this <br />very important information package.
