<br />Postponed due to miscommunication re draft minutes — will be resent in final form and
<br />on agenda for approval at the September meeting.

<br />Report on July Water Conservation W orkshop
<br />- R io de la Vista - Rio reported that the wor kshop in July was very successful with good
<br />attendance. It was a good first step towards one of the Round t able’s goals of bui l d ing
<br />more and better c ommunication between ag and municipal water users and providers.
<br />There was excellent information about municipal water conservation methods, funding
<br />and challenges — as well as feedback to the CWCB’s water conservation office
<br />personnel about meeting the nee ds of smaller, rural communities. Chips Barry’s key
<br />note presentation was a highlight and informative about the steps being taken to
<br />achieve greater urban water conservation at Denver Water.

<br />Travis – the SLV ID s tarted looking at 4 years ago to explore possible ways to enhance
<br />admin istration and storage for the Rio Grande, includ ing the Rio Grande Res ervoir.
