Four rain on snow events were found in the record of the Gunnison River at Almont. The
East River at A1mont results are described in Section 5.4.

The REGFREO and HEC-FFA programs were used to perform the analysis on the flow record in
Appendix A - Table A.5. Prior to using the REGFREO program, HEC-FFA was used on both the East
River at A1mont and Gunnison River at A1mont data to test for low and high outliers based on a
methodology described in Bulletin 178. Any outliers were manually removed from the REGFREO data
set. The 1977 flow for the both the Gunnison and East River at A1mont data sets were determined to be
low outliers. The results from the analysis are presented in Figure 5.5.3.1. Additionally, the adopted
statistics and the 10, 2, 1, and 0.2 percent chance exceedence flows are presented in Table 5.5.3.1.

Table 5.5.3.1 Flood Frequency Analysis Results for Reach 6 - Gunnison River from Almont to
Ohio Creek

Std.
