<br />Colorado Water for the 21st Century <br />Metro Roundtable - Meeting Minutes <br /> <br />November 2, 2005 <br />Parker Water and Sanitation District Office <br />Parker, Colorado <br />4:00 - 6:20 PM <br /> <br />Chairman Doug Scott chaired the meeting. <br /> <br />The current members in attendance elected the following additional member: <br />. Industrial appointee - Neil Jaquet <br /> <br />It was announced that Hamlet (Chips) Barry has been appointed as the Denver <br />municipal representative. <br /> <br />There was a short discussion of the need for designation of two vlce- <br />chairpersons. No names were put forward and no decision was made. <br /> <br />There was general review and discussion of provisions contained in the <br />proposed bylaws. The Roundtable tentatively approved the bylaws, as revised <br />pursuant to the discussion. Gary Thompson will re-draft the bylaws containing <br />these revisions for further review and potential adoption at the December 7 <br />meeting. Prior to the next meeting, please review the re-drafted bylaws. <br /> <br />There was discussion of the proposed selection process for the Interbasin <br />Compact Committee (IBCC) representatives from the Metro Roundtable. It was <br />agreed that candidates shall submit letters of interest to the IBS website. Such <br />candidates may also speak to the Roundtable in support thereof at the December <br />7 meeting. The two IBCC representatives will be selected by three-fourths <br />majority vote in accordance with the draft bylaws. <br /> <br />The three non-voting members to the Roundtable have not yet been designated. <br /> <br />Two year terms were designated for all members who did not draw for terms at <br />the October 5 meeting.
