<br />December 4,2006 <br /> <br />Bill Trampe stated his concern regarding needs assessment. He felt a needs <br />assessment discussion should come first before any project selection. John McClow <br />concurred and requested that needs assessment be added to the next meeting Agenda. <br /> <br />3. EnvironmentallRecreational Needs Assessment - Steve Glazer began a discussion <br />on the non-consumptive environmental and recreational water needs in the Gunnison <br />Basin. He stated that CDM was still in negotiation with the State to become the <br />technical support for the roundtables. However, some roundtables were moving <br />ahead with defining their needs. He requested permission from the Roundtable to <br />move ahead on developing a stream management plan for environmental and <br />recreational purposes. He proposed to start by developing a database of existing <br />conditions and could have a contractor collect all the data that already exists. Several <br />Roundtable members supported the idea, and discussion continued regarding input <br />from the Needs Assessment Committee. Randy See then made a motion to have <br />Steve Glazer develop a task order describing environmental and recreational needs <br />assessment with the assistance of the Needs Assessment Committee for review by the <br />Gunnison Basin Roundtable and referral to the IBCC. The motion was seconded by <br />John McClow. Michelle Pierce asked for a voice vote, and the motion carried. <br /> <br />4. Rescheduling the January 2007 Meeting - Michelle Pierce recommended to move the date of <br />the next Gunnison Basin Roundtable meeting to January 8,2007 due to the New Year holiday. <br />She also announced that attendance would not be mandatory for that meeting by precedence and <br />the Roundtable agreed. <br /> <br />5.
