<br />April 3, 2006 <br /> <br />A motion was made by David Baumgarten requesting that the Roundtable support the Charter <br />contingent upon a change in the wording to page 2, Section III, Number 1. Tyler Martineau <br />seconded the motion, and again it failed 26 to 1 opposed by Harmon Lowman. Michelle Pierce <br />elected to move on to the next order of business. <br /> <br />Education Committee Report <br />The education committee introduced Rick Brown to give a presentation on the Statewide Water <br />Supply Initiative (SWSI). His presentation was followed by some discussion over reported figures <br />concerning the "Average Annual Legal Availability" in the Gunnison River drainage. <br /> <br />Additional Business <br />Karla Brown, Executive Director of the Colorado Foundation for Water Education (CFWE), <br />presented reference notebooks to the Roundtable Members. <br /> <br />Michelle Pierce asked for input on creating future Agendas for the Roundtable meetings. Bill <br />Trampe mentioned that the Roundtable needs to start working on a "Vision Statement". <br /> <br />It was announced that on May 18 the River District will be sponsoring a meeting for all 4 west slope <br />roundtables. The meeting will be held at the Pavilion in Montrose from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. <br /> <br />Next Meetine <br />The next meeting of the Gunnison Basin Roundtable will be May 1, 2006. <br /> <br />Adiourn <br />There being no further business to come before the Roundtable, the meeting adjourned at 7:20 pm. <br /> <br />/1" <br /> <br /> <br />Mike Berry, Recorder <br /> <br />4 <br />
