Feasibility Study <br />for the <br />Rehabilitation of Foothills Reservoir Dam <br />PROJECT SPONSOR <br />The The.Highland Ditch Company, Inc. is a Colorado Mutual Ditch Company and a Non - profit <br />Corporation. The Articles of Incorporation and the Company's Bylaws are included in Appendix A. <br />The company was incorporated in 1872 and has been in continuous existence and operation and has <br />delivered irrigation water since its inception. The first water deliveries were from their direct flow <br />rights from the Saint Vrain River and at the turn of the century the Company started construction of <br />several storage reservoirs. <br />The company's facilities are located in Boulder County, Colorado and are located to the north of <br />Longmont, Colorado. Their facilities consist of Highland Reservoir #1 (capacity 978 acre - feet), <br />Highland Reservoir #2 (capacity 3712 acre - feet), Highland Reservoir #3 (capacity 1669 acre - feet), <br />McIntosh Reservoir (capacity 2459 acre - feet), 49% of Beaver Reservoir (capacity 2160 acre - feet), <br />Foothills Reservoir (capacity 4320 acre - feet). Their system also includes approximately 26 miles of <br />main supply ditch and approximately 15 miles of extension and lateral ditches from Mulligan <br />Reservoir. The company owns direct flow rights from the Saint Vrain River and also owns 20 units <br />of CBT water.
