Board of Directors
Jack H. Burk, President
Larry A. Lee Jr., Vice President
Dan F. Whitehead, SecretarylTreasurer

Introduction
The Number Six Ditch Company, Inc. (Company) manages the Number Six and Boss Ditches
for the benefit of the Members who own water rights and lands served by the Ditches. Irrigation
water is diverted from the Mancos River, southwest of the Town of Mancos in Montezuma
County Colorado, and carried in the Ditches to the approximately 506 acre Member service
area. The ditches have a combined length of about 5.5 miles serving 24 landowners with a
maximum flow of 9.55 cfs of adjudicated water. The Company proposes to consolidate the
ditches into a single pipeline for a distance of approximately 3.0 miles with an additional 1.3
miles (approximately) of lateral lines to reach all landowners within the Service Area.

Project Sponsor
The Company is a non-profit corporation registered in the State of Colorado. There are 24
landowners in the service area. The Company has the power to assess the Members for
operations, maintenance and administrative costs. Twenty three Members (Funding Members)
have entered into a Funding Agreement with the Company for repayment of the loan that will be
used to finance Project costs. Each landowner's water will be carried in the pipeline and the
loan repayment will be shared by the Funding Members in proportion to the maximum
adjudicated water flow (cfs) of each Funding Member plus an equal share of the one non-
Funding Member's costs. The proposed pipeline will carry a minimum of 9.55 cfs.

Project Service Area and Facilities
The approximately 500 acres of irrigated land within the Service Area is used primarily for cattle,
horse and hay production. The hay crop is used as livestock feed or is sold. A map of the
existing ditches and the proposed pipeline is presented at the end of this document.
