Next Meeting: Monday, June 25, Glenwood Springs Community Recreation Center, 1:00 to <br />4:00. <br /> <br />a. ~gE1llii: Vote on the following Water for the 2151 Century Grant requests: <br /> <br />1. $25,000 well monitoring program in Missouri Heights, Carbondale, in Garfield <br />and Eagle Counties, from CBR T Basin Account. <br /> <br />11. $120,000 Bull Creek No.4 reservoir enlargement near Molina, Garfield County, <br />from Statewide Account. <br /> <br />111. $50,000 to study spillway adequacy for Bull Creek Reservoir No.5 from CBRT <br />Basin Account. <br /> <br />2. Approve April 2007 meeting minutes. The April 2007 minutes were approved unanimously. <br /> <br />3. A joint roundtable meeting of the 4 Western Slope roundtables will be held Monday, <br />June 18,2007, in Montrose. The agenda includes: <br /> <br />1. Eric Kuhn will discuss the Colorado River Compact and responding to a Lower <br />Basin Call. <br />2. 2007 SB 122 $500,000 appropriation to CWCB to study water availability in the <br />Colorado River. <br />3. Recent case that requires additional water to flow down the Black Canyon of the <br />Gunnison River. <br />4. Aaron Million's proposed Green River Pumpback project. <br /> <br />5. Report from other Roundtables - None. <br /> <br />6. $25,000 well monitoring program in Missouri Heights, Carbondale. <br /> <br />a. Art Bowles, Vice President of the Board ofthe Basalt Water Conservancy District, presented <br />a grant request for $25,000 to monitor groundwater wells on Missouri Heights. Missouri <br />Heights straddles Garfield and Eagle Counties north of the Roaring Fork River and Highway <br />82. Missouri Heights is about 600-800 feet above the Roaring Fork River. The historic <br />ranches are being replaced with residences that are growing at an annual rate of 20% or <br />more. The grant will pay to install well monitoring equipment at 3 wells and to compile <br />monthly readings to study whether the groundwater aquifer is being depleted. <br /> <br />b.
