By using the Palisade <br />Pipeline, It now takes 11 hours <br /> <br />Dick has to estimate three days in advance what the water needs will be. It depends in part <br />on the weather, who uses water, etc., so he guesses high. <br /> <br />The checks save an average 28,500 acre feet of water: The savings were 45,000 AF in 2002 <br />and 31,000 AF in 2003. <br /> <br />Fish ladder at Roller: <br /> <br />A lot of federal dollars were used to pay for the fish ladder. <br /> <br />We can use water a lot more efficiently. <br /> <br />Comments by Eric Hecox: <br /> <br />There is currently proposed legislation, SB 179, to create funds for IBCC process. This <br />would change how some severance tax dollars should be spent. <br /> <br />Can any money from severance tax be used for the IBCC process? It is now in <br />appropriations. The issue is how to divvy up the severance tax pie.
