Brush and several
large trees cover the downstream slope and groin areas. Remove the
vegetation.

The removal of brush and trees has not been performed to-date. City
maintenance crews will perform this work in 2002.

3.

Rodent Holes - Rodent activity was observed on the dam
embankment. Initiate a rodent control program and backfill any
existing holes on the downstream slope.

Rodent activity will be evaluated, and if a control program is necessary,
it will be initiated in 2002. Damage repair will be performed by City
crews in 2002.

4.

Interior Inspection of Outlet Pipe - An internal inspection of the outlet
was to be performed by November 1, 1997.

Due to the size of the pipe, this required a remote control video
inspection. The first accessible portion of the outlet pipe is
approximately 50 to 100 feet downstream of the valve well. An
internal video inspection of the outlet works was performed in 1999.
Videotape of the inspection is available. The video did not reveal any
significant problems with the outlet.

5.

Ememency Preparedness Plan - An Emergency Preparedness Plan (EPP)
must be developed and submitted to the State Engineer by October 1,
1997.

The EPP was prepared in 1997.

6.

Seepaae Monitorina Plan - Monitor the seepage from the reservoir.

The basic requirement is to provide minor earthwork to collect seepage,
and install a weir so that this water can be regularly measured. This
work is being deferred until the spillway work is completed. The
extent of the seepage problem will be evaluated at that time.

7.

Spillway Repair - The service spillway experienced substantial damage
to its grouted riprap lining. Trees and brush should be removed to
improve the access to the site, holes should be back- filled, and new
grouted riprap should be placed. Similar repairs should be made at
the emergency spillway.

Upon completion of the new spillway, this work will not be
necessary. The two existing spillways will be abandoned.

23
