The Lake Canal Company operates the canal to supply water to 50 <br />shareholders for irrigation within its 6,800-acre service area. The Company wants to develop a <br />pressurized raw water system for residential users within its service area. The average annual <br />volume of water diverted is 12,000 acre-feet. The Lake Canal Company is a mutual ditch company <br />(Water Company) registered in the State of Colorado. Stephen Smith P.E., Aqua Engineering Inc., <br />will complete the feasibility study. Proposed funding for the project consists of a CWCB loan (amount <br />to be determined), a CWCB Feasibility Study Grant in amount of $5,000, and the remainder from the <br />Company. <br /> <br />Location Map <br />
