It is often not economically feasible to provide potable back-up for all
customers in the service area, but it may be desirable to provide this option for some
landscapes such as community parks, high use zones such as ball fields, or for more
valuable landscapes such as trees and shrubs. During times of drought there will be a
tradeoff between what is economically feasible as far as providing potable back-up water
to landscapes and what the needs and desires are in the community.

Aqua Engineering, Inc.
and Colorado State University
May 19, 2004

Secondary Supply Feasibility Study
-13-
