Grant award determination will not take place until March 2007. Since application has been made, RMWSD has been notified that it will be competing for funds with 20 other eligible applicants. RMWSD anticipates that due to the high number of grant applications received by DOLA, partial funding, of an undetermined amount, may only be granted. Therefore, RMWSD is applying to the Arkansas River Basin to fund a portion of Phase 1. If RMWSD is successful with full funding by the Basin grant, RMWSD will urge DOLA to fund only the balance needed to complete this phase of the project. Inkind and Other Cash Contributions for Phase 1 are undetermined at this time. It is anticipated that both towns may either contribute cash and/or in-kind contributions through equipment/labor as their budgets allow. Affected property owners will also contribute with costs for line extensions and easements through their property. 6b
