<br />Water Source: Gunnison <br />Terms of Loan: $200,0000 2.4% for 20-years <br /> <br />Project Yield: 1,000 Acre-Feet <br />Project Type: Reservoir Rehabilitation <br /> <br />, <br />, <br />, <br />I <br />I <br />The Grand Mesa Reservoir Company operates 6 reservoirs on the Grand Mesa to supply <br />I <br />water to 16 shareholders for the irrigation of 500 acres. This project involves the <br />replacement of the outlet structures at each re$rvoir and also addresses seepage <br />problems at each facility. The project was desikned by the City of Grand Junction, one <br />of the major shareholders, and is currently be0g constructed by the City of Grand <br />Junction. The outlet structures have been installed and the seepage problem corrected <br />I <br />at both reservoir locations. The City of Grand !Junction is draining the two reservoirs to <br />install the new outlet gates. The project has been on hold pending resolution of <br />I <br />construction and water rights issues between tJ;le City and the Company. These issues <br />have recently been resolved, with the final pha~e of the project scheduled to commence <br />construction during the summer of 2007. I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />2. Springdale Ditch Company - Well ~ugmentation Project <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />! <br />I <br />I <br />The Spring dale Ditch Company operates the ~pringdale Ditch for the delivery of <br />irrigation water within a 4,490-acre service are~. The headgate for the ditch is located <br />in Logan County 6 miles southwest of Sterling. The project involves the construction <br />of augmentation ponds and drilling one augm;entation well and 2 recharge wells to <br />generate credits to cover depletions from 43 irrigation wells used by Stockholders of <br />the Company. The project engineer is Brent r\lation with Nation Engineering <br />Services, Fort Morgan, Colorado. All well and augmentation ponds have been <br />constructed. The Company is currently waitiJig on final measuring devices for <br />I <br />project completion, which is scheduled for completion in June of 2007. <br />! <br /> <br />Authorization: Construction Fund <br />Water Source: South Platte Basin <br />Terms of Loan: $121,500 @ 2.75% for 30-years <br /> <br />County: Logan - Near Sterling <br />Project Yield: 10,647 acre-feet <br />Project Type: Well Augmentation <br /> <br />i <br />I <br />I <br />3.
