All oflhcse existing wells were low producing and of poor water
quality, making it difficult for the town to meet demands and EPA drinking standards. This project
involved the drilling of two additional wells (the Hoyer and Thomas/Kuscl Wells) and the
installation of 11,OOO-fcCI of 12-inch ductile iron pipe to deliver the water to the town's reservoir
for treatment. The new wells will mix with the existing wells to increase water quality and will
increase the town annually '\'3ter availability by 530 acrc.fcet.

l'roicetDat:1

Sllonsur: Town of Akron

Connly: Washington

\\'aler Source: Camp Creek

T('rms of Loan: S280.958.80@3.75%for30-yrs.
