WI Carrie Campbell <br /> <br />I called to ask where they are with respect to the District's 1993 authorization for <br />Stevens Lake ($1.9 m) and the $5,000 feasibility study grant. <br /> <br />The District is in the process of constructing an infiltration gallery on the San Juan (or <br />West Fork ofthe San Juan?). They have settled the right-of-way lawsuit with the Bass <br />brothers. <br /> <br />They have no immediate plans for Martinez Creek reservoir but would like to enlarge <br />Steven's Lake in two or three years and may want to request some additional funding, <br />probably about $700,000 in addition to the $1.9 million authorization for a $3.5 m <br />project. <br /> <br />I told her they would need to update the feasibility study for the enlargement. Allen <br />Davey is the engineer. She suggested they would submit the feasibility study next <br />summer and request the additional funding in November 2000, probably start <br />construction in 2001. <br /> <br />She will call back to confirm next month. <br /> <br />Cc: Mike Serlet <br />
