Attach additional sheet(s) as needed. <br /> <br /> <br />The Upper Yampa Water Conservancy District was formed in 1966 to provide legal authority <br /> <br />for planning and constructing water conservation projects in the Yampa Valley. Formed under <br />the “Water Conservancy Act” the Upper Yampa Water Conservancy District (UYWCD) <br /> <br />completed the Yamcolo Reservoir in 1980 and Stagecoach Reservoir in 1989. It manages these <br /> <br />reservoirs and a hydropower plant at the Stagecoach Dam. Along with Gardener Park Reservoir <br />the District has approximately 41,000 ac-ft of storage. Annual revenues of approximately two <br /> <br />million dollars per year from a combination of mill levy, water sales, interest, and power <br />revenues. 2006 water contracts totaled approximately 21,600 acre feet. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />2 <br /> <br /> <br />
