The invitation to <br />bid was published in both the Fort Morgan Times and Greeley Tribune on July 21,2006 (copy <br />attached). We had a slight schedule change from what we previously indicated, and the bid <br />opening is scheduled for August 10,2006, at Tetra Tech RMC, in Longmont. I believe that the <br />CWCB contract indicates that CWCB staff should be allowed to attend the bid opening, so we <br />are inviting you to do that, if you wish. <br /> <br />The Bijou Board will not be present at the bid opening. Rich Tocher will summarize the bids, <br />and the Board will review them at a special meeting on August 11. If the bids are within the <br />contract estimates, we anticipate proceeding with the public notice for the election on August 14, <br />and holding the election on September 5th, as previously scheduled. If the bids come in higher, <br />the Bijou Board will decide what to do next on August 11. <br /> <br />I have not had a response from you to my letter of July 17,2006, in which I posed several <br />questions about timing and the content of CWCB loan contract. Weare still hoping to get your <br />comments fairly soon. <br /> <br />Overall, I believe that things are proceeding on schedule. If you have questions or need any <br />additional information from us, please let me know.
