Evans <br />Acting Director, eweB <br /> <br />Dear Mrs. Woods, <br /> <br />Concerning your application for a Small Project Loan from the Construction Fund, I regret to <br />inform you the Colorado Water Conservation Board (CWCB) has denied your request for a loan in <br />amount of $100,000. The Board tDok this action because a finding of hardship is required as a <br />condition for granting a loan from the Small Project Loan Account. The CWCB agreed that your <br />Association is in a potentially serious situation, but felt that it did not fulfill the definition of a <br />hardship, as defined in statute. I have attached a copy of the updated Board memo concerning the <br />Columbine Ranches Property Owners Association. Please refer to page 3 of that memo and to the <br />section "Action taken by the CWCB, Mayl2, 1998". <br /> <br />The Board did agree that a Standard Construction Fund Loan would be appropriate for the purchase <br />of water rights for augmentation, and invited your Association to seek that form of financing. <br />Funding through a Standard Construction Fund Loan would be available June 1999.
