Effective Period <br /> <br />These guidelines will be in effect 30 days from the publication of the Secretary's <br />Record of Decision (ROD) in the Federal Register. These Guidelines wil~ unless <br />subsequently modified, remain in effect through Deccmber 3 I, 2015 (through <br />preparation of the 2016 AOP). <br /> <br />B. Termination of Guidelines <br /> <br />These Guidelines shall terminate on Deccmbcr 31, 20 IS (through preparation of the <br />2016 AOP). At the conclusion of the effective period of these Guidelines, the <br />modeled operating criteria are assumed to revert to the operating cr~eria used to <br />model baseline conditilns (Le., modeling assumptions used in the EIS are based upon <br />a 70R strategy forthe period commencing January I, 2016 (for preparation of the <br />2017 AOP)). <br /> <br />At the conclusion of the effective period of these Guidelines, California shall have <br />impemented suffici:nt measures to be able to limit total uses of Colorado River water <br />within California to 4.4 maf, unless a surplus is determined under the 70R strategy. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />25 <br />
