Revised Statutes 1973, as amended) is amended BY THE ADDITION OF
A NEW SECTION to read:

39-26-123 t 1. Credi t of, 5'31 es and use tax receipts' to
Colorado water conservation board construction fund - terminates
July 1, 1982~ (1) Notwithstanding the provisions of section
39-26-123 (2) (c) (I) (A)) (2) (c) (I) (B), and (2) (c) (I) (C))
the following amounts out of net revenue from sales and use taxes
whi'ch' other-wi se waul d ,be credi ted to the genera 1 fund 5 ha 11 be
credited to the Colorado water conservation board construction
fund ,created by section 37-60-121, C. R.S. 1973:

(a) For the fiscal year, beginning July 1) 1979, eight
million dollars;
(b) For the fiscal year beginning July 1, 1980, ten million
dollars;
(c) For the ,f i sea 1 year beginning July,l, 1981) ten million
dollars.
(2) Thi,s s2ction is repealed effective July 1) 1982.

SECTION 4. Project authorizations. (1) Pursuant to section
37-60-122, Colorado' Revised Statutes 1973, there are hereby
authorized to be constructed from such funds as may become
available to the Colorado water conservation board construction
fund) in the priority listed as nearly as practicable and with
the s urns, of . money 1 i sted, plus or mi nus such amounts) i f any L as
may be justified by unforeseen circumstances or by reason of
ordinary fluctuations in land values and construction costs as
indicated by cost indices applicable to the type of projects
involved, the following projects:

constructed as first .priorities from the first moneys made
available to the Colorado water conservation board construction
fund pursuant to section 39-26-123.1) Colorado Revised Statutes'
1973. The funds made available for the Chatfield project channel'
improvement may be expended only through a contract ~ith the
United States by which the United States agrees to provide not
less than one-half of the total cost of said chann~l improvement.
