The reservoir is located about 28 miles
northeast of Craig and is filled by Fourmile Creek, a tributary to the Yampa River. A slide
occurred on the upstream slope of the dam in summer 2000, and the reservoir was emptied for
repairs. The CWCB approved an initial small project loan of $100,000 in September 2001, but
work could not be started due to winter weather. The Partnership now plans to rehabilitate and
enlarge the dam, and has requested an additional loan. The work will be completed in spring and
fall 2002. The reservoir has a current capacity of 250 ac-ft, which will be increased to 330 ac-ft.
The John Peroulis & Sons Partnership is a general partnership registered in the State of
Colorado. Northwest Colorado Consultants has completed preliminary plans and specifications
for the project and the feasibility study. Proposed additional funding for the project consists of a
CWCB Small Project Loan in amount of $150,000 (total CWCB loans will be $250,000) and a
$5,000 CWCB grant for the feasibility study.

Location Map

5
