They plan to pipe the ditch, and rehabilitate
several concrete structures. The Company is requesting a loan in the amount up to $120,000
(approximately 35 % of the estimated total project cost of $343,000).

The Durkee ditch is located about 15 miles northeast of Delta. The upper end of the ditch leaks
significantly. and passes through unstable slopes. Landslides have closed the ditch in the past,
and the Company has already installed 1500 feet of 36" pipe through the worst areas.

Preliminary engineering design work as well as a draft feasibility study have been completed by
Mike DiLuzio of the NRCS, Delta office.

DISCUSSION

The proposed project will maintain the current capacity of the ditch. 700 acres are irrigated by
the Durkee Ditch.

The project cost estimate is $343,000, and the Company has a $200,000 commitment for cost
share from theCFSA. The remaining costs will be funded by a $120,000 CWCB loan, and
$23,000 in Company resources.
