<br />Non-Consumptive Needs Proposal <br />Concepts <br /> <br />Goal: Develop a non-consumptive needs assessment addressing both environmental <br />and recreational priorities for the Y -W-G Basin that can help direct our water <br />supply solutions. <br /> <br />Benefits: <br />1 . <br />2. <br />3. <br /> <br />4. <br /> <br />Principles: <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Shared and objective foundation for IBC discussions; <br />A framework for allocating resources for protection of our basins rivers and streams; <br />A common basis for diverse stakeholders to make informed water management <br />decisions that preserve our environment while providing a clean water supply for the <br />Yampa basin; <br /> <br />(Plus, it's required by the 1177 legislation.) <br /> <br />Inclusive: This effort should engage an array of stakeholders, including RT Members, <br />Contractor, Experts, and Citizens. <br />Objective: This assessment should be grounded in objective data. <br />Useful: This assessment should help us as a roundtable to make informed decisions. <br />purable: We should develop a lasting tool for the basin, that we can build on and <br />Improve. <br />
