(Survcon).

The starting WSEL at the downstream end of the study reach was based on the
WSEL at the confluence with Walton Creek. The hydraulic analyses submitted by
TC&B were revised by FEMA based on more detailed topographic information and
revised culvert data submitted with the October 29 LOMR request. In a report
provided by DB (DB report), topographic information was provided on a map
entitled "LOMR 100- Year Floodplain Limits," at a scale of 1 " = 10' with contour
intervals of 1 foot. Revised culvert information was provided in Figures 1, 2, and 3
of the DB report.

Elk River

Cross sections utilized by TC&B were based on new field surveys performed by MSM,
topography from the City of Steamboat Springs with 2-foot contour intervals
(Reference 22), and USGS Quadrangle topographic maps with 40-foot contour intervals
(Reference 15). The starting WSEL at the downstream end of the study reach was
based on the WSEL at the confluence with the Yampa River.

Walton Creek

Cross sections utilized by TC&B were based on new field surveys performed by MSM,
topography from the City of Steamboat Springs with 2-foot contour interval
(Reference 22), a USGS Quadrangle topographic map with 40-foot contour intervals
(Reference 15), and supplemented field surveys preformed by Survcon.

Starting WSELs at the downstream end of the study reach was based on the WSEL at
the confluence with the Yampa River.

Yampa River (Town of Hayden)

Cross sections utilized by TC&B were based on new field surveys performed by MSM
and a USGS Quadrangle topographic map with 40-foot contour intervals
(Reference 15).

31
