DESCRIPTION OF LOCATION
U.S. Army Corps of Engineers benchmark comprising a chiseled
"X" on the top of the southwest abutment of the County Road 109
bridge over the Roaring Fork River near Cattle Creek Station.
U.S. Army Corps of Engineers benchmark comprising a railroad
spike in a cottonwood tree 60 feet west of the Roaring Fork River
and 190 feet north of a barbwire fence running east-west at the
north end of a pond.
U.S. Geological Survey disk stamped "N 158 1934" in a concrete
post 57 feet northwest of Denver and Rio Grande Western Railroad
mile post 368, 75 feet northwest of a road crossing, and 27 feet
southwest of the main track centerline west of Cattle Creek Station.
U.S. Army Corps of Engineers benchmark comprising a railroad
spike in a power pole 225 feet north of a ranchhouse in the south-
east comer of See 12, T. 7 S., R. 89 W. (Cattle Creek Quadrangle
Sheet).
Brass cap in concrete, located 7 miles south of Glenwood Springs
and on east side of County Road 109. Established by Garfield
County.
U.S. Coast and Geodetic Survey brass cap in concrete located
4.8 miles southeast along Denver and Rio Grande Western Railroad
from Glenwood Courthouse, at northeast corner of Beer Distribu-
tion Center lot.
