This map is developed in accordance with the latest flood insurance map prepara- tion guidelines published by Federal Emergency Management Agency. 6.0 OTHER STUDIES In April 1979, CWeB completed a flood study of the lower South Arkansas River, Colorado (Reference 1). Infonnation of this study was made avail- abl e to the study contractor and the resul ts of thi s f1 ood study are rea- sonable and, therefore, were adopted for this flood insurance study.
