selenium and other water quality parameters of concern in Leroux Creek and the
mainstem of the river, in cooperation with the Gunnison Basin Selenium Task Force.
However, the USGS currently has no further plans to monitor these tributaries. This
volunteer monitoring program is therefore the only on-going assessment of selenium
concentrations in the North Fork watershed.

The following table provides a list of the historical water quality sampling that has
occurred in the North Fork. Water quality data collected by the mines is not represented
in this table, as this data is collected privately. Review of this information was used in
selection of the water quality sampling stations currently used by the North Fork
Volunteer Water Quality Monitoring Project. Only sample ,events where data was
collected for more than one event are presented in this table.
