Description of Applicant The Eagle Park Reservoir Company stores and releases water in Eagle Park Reservoir to meet the water augmentation needs of its shareholders. The following information will supplement the description included in the Grant Application in Attachment A, Part A for the two shareholders that are water suppliers. The Eagle River Water and Sanitation District ("the District") provides water service in the Town of Vail and the unincorporated community of Wolcott. The Upper Eagle Regional Water Authority ("the Authority") provides water service to its five member metropolitan districts and the Town of Avon. The Authority also serves Bachelor Gulch and Cordillera subdivisions through service contracts. A map of the water service area of the District and Authority is attached. Revenue sources for the District for water operations are Service fees (49%), Tap fees (13%), Property taxes (28%), and other (10%). Total annual revenues for the District for water operations are approximately $5,000,000. Revenue sources for the Authority are Service fees (69%), Tap fees (17%), Treated Water Storage fees (11 %), and other (3%). Total annual revenues for the Authority are approximately $11,000,000. The District provides water service to approximately 9,200 Single Family Equivalent Units (SFEs). The Authority serves approximately 15,300 SFEs. The SFE is a statistical unit the District and Authority use to represent an average customer. For residential customers one SFE is a single family home, duplex, condominium or townhome with up to 3,000 square feet.
