The diversion dam consists of concrete and check <br />boards with steel posts. <br /> <br />Comments: The river is braided in this area. There is a lot of debris upstream in this branch of the <br />river, and this headgate will have trouble diverting water during times of low flow. The headgate was <br />recently improved by adding a new frame and re-cementing the floor so the gate can shut flush.
