<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Consent Agenda Item 1.d <br />Case No. 4-06CW25l Application of Camp Id-Ra-Ha-Je West Association <br /> <br />Application Summary <br /> <br />This is an application for surface water rights, ground water, storage rights, and approval of a plan for <br />augmentation in Gunnison County near Paonia Reservoir. Applicant seeks the following: <br /> <br />1. Surface water rights for: Frey Ditch Camp West Enlargement for 0.5 cfs with an appropriation date <br />of June 30, 1982 for certain uses and an appropriation date of June 30, 2003 for stock watering and <br />aUf:,Tffientation; Camp West Tailwater Ditch for 0.25 cfs (conditional) for supplemental irrigation <br />with an appropriation date of September 1,2006; Camp West Floodwater Ditch for 0.25 cfs <br />(conditional) for supplemental irrigation with an appropriation date of September I, 2006. <br />2. Ground water rights for: Camp Well No.1 with an appropriation date of March 18, 1977 for 15 gpm, <br />absolute, for domestic use and for 35 gpm, conditional, for commercial, stock, fire protection and <br />irrigation uses; Camp Well No.2 with an appropriation date of June 30, 2003 for 50 gpm, <br />conditional, for commercial, stock, fire protection and irrigation uses. <br />3. Storage water rights for: Camp West Pond No.1 for 0.88 AF, absolute, with an appropriation date <br />of June 30, 1982, for recreation and fire protection, and with the right to fill and refill conditionally <br />for stock watering and augmentation; Camp West Augmentation Pond for 3 AF (conditional) with <br />the right to fill and refill for recreation, fire protection and augmentation with an appropriation date <br />of June 30, 2003. Both Ponds are filled via the Frey Ditch Camp West Enlargement at a rate of 0.5 <br />cfs. <br />4. Approval of a plan for augmentation to cover depletions resulting from these structures and from the <br />Id-Ra-Ha-Je Spring Pipeline. The sources of augmentation are Camp West Pond No.1, Camp West <br />Augmentation Pond, East Beck Reservoir No.1, and Blue Mesa Reservoir. The augmentation plan <br />is intended to replace out-of-priority depletions from uses at a seasonal Christian camp that include <br />domestic, commercial, lawn and landscape irrigation, stock watering, and evaporation. <br />5. Appropriative right of exchange from the confluence of the North Fork Gunnison River and <br />Gunnison River up to the headgate of the Frey Ditch on Anthracite Creek at a rate of 0.007 cfs with <br />an appropriation date of June 30, 2003. <br /> <br />CWCB Appropriations <br /> <br />CWCB Case StreamlLake Amount Approp. The <br />Applicant's proposed plan for augmentation may injure the Board's instream flow water rights on the North <br />Fork Gunnison River and Anthracite Creek by not replacing out-of-priority depletions in time, place and <br />amount. <br /> <br />Other Obiectors <br />Jonathan Lee and Dori Lee also filed a statement of opposition to this application. <br />
