<br />March 1, 2004 <br /> <br />South Platte River Basin <br />District 1 <br />Diversion Structure Inventory <br /> <br />2 Riverside Dam <br /> <br />On the observation date for this structure, an evaluation was not made and photographs <br />were not taken, due to a gate denying access across private property to the structure. <br />After later discussion with the CWCS, it was learned that the Riverside Dam was <br />completely reconstructed within the last few years. The new structure utilizes a new <br />water technology known as an Obermeyer Spillway Gate System. Another observation <br />attempt was therefore not needed, and as a result, a narrative of structure components <br />and repair plan, summary of recommended repairs and estimated range of cost were not <br />provided. It is assumed that this structure is in very good condition. <br /> <br />Farnsworth Group <br />
