<br />. <br /> <br />Consent Agenda Item l.b <br />Case No. 1-06CW269: Application of Rinekar Ridge Metropolitan District <br /> <br />Application Summary <br /> <br />This is an application for ground water rights and approval of a plan for augmentation in Park <br />County north of Hartsel. Applicant seeks the following: <br /> <br />1. Ground water rights for Rinekar Ridge Wells 1-5 for 100 gpm per well, conditional, for <br />municipal uses within a proposed development known as the Preserve at Hartsel Springs <br />Ranch. The claimed appropriation date for the wells is December 27,2006. <br />2. Approval of a plan for augmentation to replace out-of-priority depletions resulting from <br />ground water diversions. The source of augmentation water is Hock Hocking Mine, decreed <br />in Case No. W -1318 as nontributary developed water. <br /> <br />CWCB Appropriations <br /> <br />CWCB Case StreamlLake Amount Approp. Potential for Iniury <br /> <br />The Applicant's proposed plan for augmentation may injure the Board's instream flow water rights <br />on the Middle Fork South Platte River by not replacing out-of-priority depletions in time, place and <br />amount. <br /> <br />Other Obiectors <br /> <br />The City of Aurora, The Farmers' Reservoir and Irrigation Company, The United Water and <br />Sanitation District, Upper South Platte Water Conservancy District; The State and Division <br />Engineers, Centennial Water and Sanitation District and Center of Colorado Water Conservancy <br />District also filed statements of opposition to this application. <br /> <br />. <br />
