<br />OOuG57 <br /> <br />EXPLANATION OF TABLE 4 <br /> <br />GENERAL DESCRIPTION: Table 4 shows the actual and percent returns from the Colorado <br />Springs' potable water system to the City's Wastewater Treatment Plant. <br /> <br />Column 1: <br /> <br />Column 2: <br /> <br />Column 3: <br /> <br />Column 4: <br /> <br />Column 5: <br /> <br />Column 6: <br /> <br />Column 7: <br /> <br />Column 8: <br /> <br />Column 9: <br /> <br />Total water delivered to the potable system. The sum of Column 9, Table 2.1 and <br />Column 6, Table 3. <br /> <br />Total potable water delivered to Fort Carson. This military installation has its own <br />wastewater disposal system. The potable water delivered to this system is not <br />treated at the Colorado Springs' Wastewater Treatment Plant. (Department <br />records) <br /> <br />Total water delivered to Prospect Lake. This lake, which is a City recreational <br />facility, is supplied directly from the potable distribution system and the water is <br />not treated at the City's Wastewater Treatment Plant. (Department records) <br /> <br />Total water which is tributary to the Colorado Springs' Wastewater Treatment <br />Plant from the potable water system. Column 1 minus Column 2 minus Column <br />3. <br /> <br />Total metered flow to the City's Wastewater Treatment Plant. (Department <br />records) <br /> <br />Total metered flow to the City's Wastewater Treatment Plant from the Manitou <br />Springs' sewer system. The City of Manitou Springs has an independent water <br />supply, but the metered sewage flows are treated in the Colorado Springs' <br />Wastewater Treatment Plant and are included in Column 5. (Department records) <br /> <br />Total metered flow to the City's Wastewater Treatment Plant from the Stratmoor <br />Hills Sanitation District sewer system. Stratmoor Hills has an independent water <br />supply, but the metered sewage flows are treated in the Colorado Springs' <br />Wastewater Treatment Plant and are included in Column 5. (Department records) <br /> <br />Total flow to the Wastewater Treatment Plant from the Colorado Springs, sewer <br />system. Column 5 minus Column 6 minus Column 7. Value is limited to a <br />maximum of column 4. <br /> <br />Tabulated percent return to the wastewater Treatment Plant from the Colorado <br />Springs' potable water system. Column 9 divided by Column 4 expressed as a <br />percent. This column is presented as a percentage carried out to the <br />thousandths place to aid in the accurate calculation of all tables that depend upon <br />this level of precision. <br />
