Reclamation <br />would mitigate onsite for the loss of mature cottonwood trees by planting cottonwood <br />saplings at a ratio of 5 saplings for each mature tree and removing tamarisk within the <br />construction area. <br />5) Long-term tamarisk and noxious weed control within the fish return pipeline easement <br />would be addressed in the O&M contract between Reclamation and R WPC. <br /> <br />23 <br />
