The Redlands Diversion Dam and the Red1ands Power Canal are located on the <br />Gunnison River near the Cit)' of Grand Junction in Mesa County, Colorado. <br /> <br />The draft EAreviews the Upper Colorado River Endangered Fish Recovery Program's proposed <br />action of providing fish screening in the Red1and Power Canal. The fish screen would return <br />fish that enter the Red1ands Power Canal to the Gunnison River downstream of the Red1ands <br />Division Dam. A No Action Alternative was also analyzed. <br /> <br />The Bureau of Reclamation requests written comments on the draft EA. Comment should be <br />sent to the Bureau of Reclamation, Western Colorado Area Office, 2764 Compass Drive, Grand <br />Junction, Colorado 81506 on or before November 7,2003. Comments may also be e-mai1ed to <br />tstroh@uc,usbr.gov.
