Phase One of the Water System Improvements Project will increase the fire flows to the Town of West cliffe as a whole, and will substantially improve fire fighting capacity in our downtown business district, as well as for our school and citizens. This project will also add pumping capacity to mitigate summer water shortages. This project is also very important for the economic growth for both the Town of Westcliffe and Silver Cliff. The improvements will provide sustainable businesses, which will in turn provide employment opportunities for the citizens of both towns is of the utmost importance in the continued prosperity of the area. On behalf of the Town of West cliffe we hope that CWCB will look favorably upon this project and awarding the grant to Round Mountain Water and Sanitation District.
