The grant application is for $120,000 to assist in making
structural improvements to overcome identified major shortcomings that demand immediate attention in
their water supply system, including their water supply. At the Arkansas Basin Roundtable (ABRT)
meeting on March 14, 2007, this grant application was approved with full consensus by our Roundtable.
This application was also reviewed by our Needs Assessment Committee and has received through both
the Committee process and our Roundtable, a thorough review and full discussion at a publicly noticed
meeting with a 75 percent quorum present.
