Since then a water pipeline easement has
been secured from the decreed point of diversion to the existing District water distribution system
in Silver Cliff, Colorado. An alternate pipeline route from the decreed point of diversion to the
existing distribution system in Westcliffe is also available via the road rights of way through the
recently approved Shining Mountain Subdivision.

The next phase of iInprovelnent, and the purpose of this grant application, is to further develop
this water source by securing an electrical supply, obtaining a well permit, and constructing a
production well with building, pump, and treatment.
