<br />Application for Water Efficiency Grant Program: Colorado Watershed Network <br /> <br />r"-- <br />\'" . <br /> <br />CWCB Grant Funds: <br />CWN Match: <br /> <br />$ 4,427 (115 hours @ 70% of $55/hr rate)-. <br />$ 1,898 (30% of hourly rate) <br /> <br />IV. Provide materials and resources <br />Responsible Party: CWN Water Education Coordinator <br />A. Provide Materials- Serve as a water education and Project WET materials <br />clearinghouse for Colorado K-12 educators, providing 1,250 Project WET <br />Guides to participants. Also distribute new Project WET and other water <br />education materials. 1bis task will be ongoing throughout grant's duration. <br /> <br />CWCB Grant Funds: $13,283 (345 hours @ 70% of$55/hr rate) <br />CWN Match: $ 5,693 (30% of hourly rate) <br />Participant Match: $25,000 (1,250 books @ $20/book) <br /> <br />B. Localize Materials- Actively participate with teachers and facilitators in <br />adapting curricula to be regionally effective water education materials, including <br />local application of Project WET curriculum. 1bis task will be ongoing <br />throughout grant's duration. <br />CWCB Grant Funds: <br />CWN Match: <br /> <br />$ 8,855 (230 hours @ 70% of$55/hr rate) <br />$ 3,795 (30% of hourly rate) <br /> <br />( <br /> <br />'-... <br /> <br />C. Outreach on Standards- Encourage and support school districts and educators <br />to integrate Project WET and regional water education materials into their <br />curriculum by assisting the application of water education to state education <br />standards. 1bis task will be ongoing throughout grant's duration. <br /> <br />CWCB Grant Funds: $ 2,657 (69 hours @ 70% of $55/hr rate) <br />CWN Match: $ 1,138 (30% of hourly rate) <br /> <br />D. Colorado Connections- Contribute to six quarterly issues of Colorado <br />Connections by writing articles and helping create theme. <br /> <br />CWCB Grant Funds: $ 2,657 (69 hours @ 70% of$55/hr rate) <br />CWN Match: $ 1,138 (30% of hourly rate) <br />CDO W Match: $15,000 (1/3 hard costs of producing and <br />publishing 6 issues, distributed to <br />approximately 3,000 teachers statewide) <br /> <br />E. Online Library- Develop an online K-12 water education library specific to the <br />State of Colorado that will facilitate task A. of this section. 1bis task will be <br />completed by June 2008. <br />CWN Match: $ 2,000 (36 hours at $55/hr)- gathering education <br />materials <br />$ 4,000 (raised by CWN to contribute to hard <br />costs of the project, including the input of <br />education materials to the system) <br /> <br />v. Program Administration <br />Responsible Parties: CWN and hired Coordinator <br />CWN Match: Our $55/hr rate includes a portion for administration and <br />overhead, approximately 15%.
