If yes, identify class(es). <br /> <br />Possibly a few state employees in the Physical Science Researcher/Scientist class or the <br />Professional Engineer class could perform some of the work related to this. program. <br />Our role at this point is r~lated to providing fmancial support and simultaneous <br />coordination of several reconnaissance/feasibility investigations rather than doing the <br />investigations ourselves. <br /> <br />5. Do you know of other state agencies which provide the service with classified <br />employees? If yes, identify agency(ies). <br /> <br />There are no other state agencies that provide this combination of services. The Division' <br />of Water Resources provides water resources administration, not planning or fmancial <br />analysis. <br /> <br />6. Describe why the service cannot be provided by permanent full-time, part-time, seasonal <br />or temporary classified employees. <br /> <br />The service is not described in any PDQ. <br /> <br />7. Describe the consequences if this contract is not approved. <br /> <br />If this P.O. is not approved the Board will not be ;tble to fully accomplish its long range <br />goal of helping public and private water users evaluate the technical and fmanciaI <br />feasibility of developing the states water resources. <br /> <br />3 <br />
