<br />PROJECT PARTICIPANTS <br /> <br />Upper Yampa Water Conservancy <br />District: The District was formed in <br />1966 to develop, store and transport <br />water to meet the municipal, irriga- <br />tionand industrial needs of local <br />water users. It is a quasi-municipal <br />sub-districT of the State of Colorado. <br />The district's first dam, Yamcolo Res- <br />ervoir on the Yampa River was com- <br />pleted in 1980. Headquartered in <br />Steamboat Springs, the District is gov- <br />erned by a nine-member board and en- <br />compasses all of Routt and portions of <br />Moffet Counties, Colorado. <br /> <br />Woodward-Clyde Consultants: <br />Woodward-Clyde Consultants is an <br />international professional services <br />firm of consulting engineers, geolo- <br />gists and environmental scientists. <br />Founded in 1950, the firm has 28 <br />offices nationwide. Other notable <br />RCC projects with which Woodward- <br />Clyde Consultants has been involved <br />include the strengthening ofGibraIter <br />. Dam, a concrete-arch dam near Santa <br />Barbara, California; Concepcion <br />. Dam, a proposed water supply project <br />- in Honduras and the first application <br />ofRCC in Central America; and Harris <br />Park Dam, an over-the-dam spillway <br />rehabilitation project near Bailey, <br />Colorado. <br /> <br />Tudor Engineering Company: <br />Tudor Engineering Company has been <br />engaged in the planning and design of <br />dams and hydroelectric power plants <br />for more than 30 years. The com- <br />pany's experience in the design of <br />dams and spillways includes modifica- <br />tions to existing dams, as well as new <br />structures, such as the recent design <br />of the Leroy Anderson Dam outlet <br />works design and spillway rehabilita- <br />tion in California. Experience also in- <br />cludes the New Exchequer Dam in <br />California, a 490,foot high concrete <br />faced rockfill dam. In the past ten <br />years, Tudor Engineering has designed <br />26 hydroelectric plants ranging in size <br />from 400 to 36,000 KW <br /> <br /> <br />ASI RCC, Inc.: ASI RCC was <br />formed in 1987 out of AS! of Buena <br />Vista, Colorado. The new company <br />was formed to concentrate on roller- <br />compacted concrete construction. <br />They have been involved in RCC <br />since 1984 with construction of <br />Middle Fork Dam in Colorado. Since <br />then, AS! has constructed Grindstone <br />RCC Dam in.New Mexico and Lower <br />Chase Creek RCC Dam in Arizona. <br />AS! successfully constructed one of <br />the first RCC dams ever built and has <br />since been a leader in perfecting the <br />equipment and technology required <br />for this type of project. <br />
